Diamond Jubilee Round Up
So the Diamond Jubilee is now over – but his has been one hell of a party for Britain. Every man, woman, child in Britain and beyond has had the right to celebrate part of the unique quality that the monarchy gives to the country. Everyone seems to have joined in these celebrations and Keep Fronting is no different. Here are some of our highlights.
As the feature image shows, if you were brave enough to pitch up and have a picnic in slightly ropey weather, there were always outdoor events and parties to keep people occupied and excited.

The river pageant was the first main showpiece event, which had thousands lining the banks of the Thames to catch a glimpse of the Queen and the many boats passing by.

The Diamond Jubilee Concert brought many people to the Mall at Buckingham Palace, with many others at St James Park and Hyde Park watching big screens to see many acts like Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams. Gary Barlow put the whole event together and he also performed with Cheryl Cole; a performance which prompted much discussion.

The final piece of the celebration involved a fly past over Buckingham by RAF Typhoons followed by the Red Arrows with smoke trailing in red, white and blue. It was a spectacular finale to 4 days of celebration.
Well, after the celebrations we all have to get back to our day to day roles. We will be back with a style profile in our next blog post but in the meantime, what were your highlights of the Diamond Jubilee?
